Gary was such a positive influence on those mid-to-late '80s teams, I can't see how they could have won without him (and they wouldn't have won the World Series without him, given that he was the one who started the Game 6 rally). Gary was such fun to watch and just brought a smile to your face every time you saw him. And his courageous battle with the cancer was just inspiring.
